How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking at least 4–6 weeks in advance for most events, and 3–6 months ahead for large corporate events, weddings, or peak summer dates. Popular weekends fill up quickly, so the sooner you reach out, the better.

What types of events do you do?

We produce luau experiences for all event types: backyard birthday parties, corporate events, HOA community luaus, weddings and receptions, school events, military celebrations, fundraisers, and more. If you can dream it, we can luau it.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Manea San Diego is fully licensed and carries $8 million in general liability insurance. We are also fire-permit compliant for all fire performances, so you can book with complete confidence.

How many guests can you accommodate?

We have catered and entertained events ranging from intimate gatherings of 25 guests to large-scale corporate events with 1,300+ attendees. Our team scales to match your event size.

What Hawaiian catering options do you offer?

Our catering menu includes kalua pig (whole roasted pig), Hawaiian BBQ, poke bowls, rice, macaroni salad, lomi salmon, haupia, and full feast packages. We also offer onsite grilling and full catering staffing. Menu options can be customized to your guest count and preferences.

Yes! Our signature whole roasted pig (kalua pig) is one of our most popular offerings. We handle the entire process — from preparation to onsite cooking and carving. Available for groups of 25 and up.

Our luau shows can include Polynesian dancers, Samoan Fire Knife Show, live Tahitian drumming, Tikiman, Fire Tikis, hula lessons for guests, and a grand finale fire show. Performances are authentic and tailored to your event — you choose what you want included.

How long does a luau show last?

Show length depends on the package you select. A standard show runs 45–90 minutes. We can customize the duration and content to fit your event timeline. Full evening entertainment packages are also available.

Is the fire show safe for indoor venues?

Fire performances require proper ventilation and fire permits. We handle all fire permit compliance and work with your venue to ensure safety. For indoor events, we can offer non-fire alternatives or work with venues that have appropriate facilities.
